Everything is Queer Today - Everyday Medal

"However, Everything is Queer Today" - Everyday medal (brooch) -These small pieces are about my artist’s perception of women’s work.They are old vintage pieces of dishes from some unknown woman’s kitchen. The words are gleaned from ruined school books from 1898 to 1910, the children of women read these words to their mothers as little ones. There are repurposed tchotchkes attached to help tell the story. These are wearable and simply a way to remind us to celebrate small things and our everyday lives. We are all heroes so don’t wait celebrate!
