Originally created for the free art day “Mushroom Drop”, the series has expanded to include many of the mushrooms in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. I choose mushrooms that conjure up a certain personality or attitude and then I create a girl that can portray it. Witches Butter. That bright yellow jelly on dark damp wood immediately draws your eye on walks through the forest. Shiny and wet looking, springy to the touch, you can certainly imagine a witch using this in their kitchen.
