Mushroom Girl - Turkey Tail

Originally created for the free art day “Mushroom Drop”, the series has expanded to include many of the mushrooms in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. I choose mushrooms that conjure up a certain personality or attitude and then I create a girl that can portray it. Turkey Tail is a multicolored mushroom with bands of color that remind me of a fiesta or flamenco dancers. This was my first design of the series and still remains a favorite.
