Originally created for the free art day “Mushroom Drop”, the series has expanded to include many of the mushrooms in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. I choose mushrooms that conjure up a certain personality or attitude and then I create a girl that can portray it. The chanterelle is a star of the forest. It's a celebration when you find them. Deep in taste and color and very sought after, these little morsels don't stay around for long.
