I wrote and published this book during 2020, when life was handing me lessons I wasn't sure I wanted to learn. It chronicles my journey from separation to divorce, after being committed to the same man for a total of 16 years. It was only during quarantine that I wondered if I'd made the wrong decision. But now I know this was a path I was always meant to choose for myself.

I never thought I would get married, and then I did. I was married for 11 years thinking I would never get divorced, but I did that too. Everything I thought I knew about myself unraveled.
