Rick Burkard
Rick Burkard. I am a mixed-media artist living in Olympia inspired by
geometry and symmetry particularly that of Celtic and Islamic designs.
I use a laser cutter to cut/engrave patterns in bamboo laminate, matt board,
Corian, and glass and employ hardwoods as frames and bases for my projects.
I am currently exploring the interaction of color with these designs.
