Alison Metheny
Growing up in the PNW in a family dubbed the 'Heathan Horde' by mid-west relations, I was lucky to be always encouraged in creative endeavors. While I have life in me, I will be making something or trying to fix what needs mending. My focus in school was the natural sciences which I try to incorporate into my art, so the tuition was hopefully not just a donation to the state coffers. I love going out in the world and seeing how the plants are growing and the animals are moving about, I will never tire of a field trip, or trying to manifest the myriad of ideas they lead to.
I try to live for hope and kindness, which seem to be in short supply most of the time, but you never know what can happen if you are patient with the world. Take care and be well! -Alison
